5 homeless men arrested on burglary charge

-

The police on Saturday arrested 5 men who are homeless and most likely drug addicts on a burglary charge. The suspects were arrested for breaking into a clothing store located along the Jodenbreestraat. A police unit that was dispatched to the location after the alarm center had received a call about a burglary in progress spotted two suspects on the balcony of the clothing store. The two suspects had bags with stolen goods with them. After the police had watched the security footage, they also identified three additional suspects who were arrested in the vicinity. The three suspects were also carrying bags with stolen clothes and shoes. All of the suspects claim that they are innocent and that they spotted the bags on the balcony. The police report indicates that a hole was made in the wall so that the burglars could enter the building. The owner of the clothing store is currently stranded in a foreign country. When she returns to Suriname, she can indicate what exactly was stolen from her store.
