Three contractors test positive for COVID-19

Reports indicate that 3 contractors from Iamgold/Rosebel Gold Mines (RGM) have tested positive for COVID-19. The number of people at this company who have tested positive for the novel coronavirus has jumped to 46. The Public Health Bureau (BOG) on Saturday informed the medical team at RGM that 3 contractors who left the site on June 20 and 21 tested positive for COVID-19. The reports also indicate that 7 workers were cured which brings the total number to 9. The condition of the 37 workers who tested positive is reportedly stable.
