The chairman of the Progressive Reform Party (VHP), Chandrikapersad Santokhi, was also put in quarantine after testing negative for the virus,” said Daniella Veira, member of the National COVID19 Management Team. “These are the leaders of the country and these people came into contact with other political leaders who have tested positive.
