Boat crew saves man who jumped in the Suriname River

SF who got off his moped and jumped off the Wijdenbosch Bridge and into the Suriname River on Monday night was saved by the crew of a Brazilian schooner. Around 20:30 bystanders notified the police that a man who was riding a red moped had jumped off the bridge. They bystanders tried to stop the jumped but failed in their attempt. One of the bystanders stated that the man was dressed in a gray tshirt. The police officers who arrived on the bridge called a tow truck to take the moped away. After a while a man who claimed to be a relative of the owner of the moped went to the police. SF reportedly had relationship troubles and therefore decided to jump into the river. The boat crew handed SF over to the police. The police then handed him over to his relatives.
