Noersalim: “Nothing wrong with appointment of Bouva”

A document which has gone viral on social media indicates that MP Melvin Bouva was appointed policy advisor first class at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on June 15, 2020. Bouva will reportedly receive a salary of SRD 8,094 every month. Interior Affairs Minister Mike Noersalim

explained that every legislator has the right to opt for a job within the state’s work force. “The fact that he was elected as a legislator does not mean that he can’t fill this position.
