Drunk driver hits utility pole

A man who was driving under the influence of alcohol hit a utility pole located along the Pt Paltan Tewarieweg around 22:25 on Tuesday. He did not sustain any injuries. The drunk driver lost control over the steering wheel near a gas station before ramming the utility pole. Reports indicate that the driver who was under the influence of alcohol could not stand on his legs after exiting his vehicle. He also did not wear his face mask properly. The drunk driver who works for a security company was taken to the police station. The police reportedly revoked his driver’s license. The car had to be towed away by a tow truck.
