President Xi congratulates Santokhi

Chinese President Xi Jinping recently congratulated Chandrikapersad Santokhi for winning the elections and becoming Suriname’s next president. President Xi pointed out that the bilateral relations between the People’s Republic of China and Suriname will progress in a healthy and stable manner. China values the bilateral relations between both nations and hopes to lift the friendly collaboration with Suriname to higher levels under Santokhi’s leadership.
