Thieves spotted at police station

A policeman on Tuesday night caught 2 thieves redhanded on the premises of a police station located in Paramaribo. The thieves were trying to break into a car that had been impounded. When the men realized that they had been spotted, they fled the scene. Both suspects jumped over the fence before splitting up and running in different directions. One of the suspects dropped a black bag which contained a side mirror that had been detached from a vehicle that had been impounded. The police managed to arrest one of the suspects. The suspect was identified as 36yearold BH. The police are trying to track down the whereabouts of his accomplice. Investigators

are trying to find out if these suspects were also involved in previous thefts that had been committed on the premises of the police station.
