Fire consumes house

A house that was located at the corner of the Engelbrechtweg and Manjadam went up in flames on Tuesday. Firefighter Spokesman Olton Pinas told Times of Suriname that the house was was made of wood had already burnt down to the ground when firefighters arrived at the locations. Pinas pointed out that five Haitians lived in the house and that none of them were home when the fire started. It is not clear how or in which part of the house the fire started.
