EBS workers test positive for COVID-19

-

Several workers of the Energy Company Suriname (EBS) who are stationed at departments that provide assistance in case of a power outage recently tested positive for COVID-19. Sections of the EBS have therefore been isolated in accordance with the health protocols of the Public Health Bureau (BOG) while other workers have been put in home quarantine as a precaution. The EBS guarantees that it will keep on providing its services with the help of technicians from other divisions. It pointed out that it could take a bit longer to respond to calls regarding power outages etc. The EBS repeated that its other services such as cash registers, 175 customer service, gas cylinder delivery etc remain open for business. It also pointed out that it also has several digital options for its services via its website, SMS, EBS MyAccount and EBS Facebook so that its customers do not have to leave their homes. The EBS spares no efforts in its attempts to minimize any inconvenience.
