Deadly accident claims 1 life

A traffic accident that took place on the Helena Christinaweg on Sunday claimed the life of 33yearold Loraine Sandel and also left 8 people injured. The injured people were taken to the hospital in 2 ambulances.

The woman was sitting on the backseat of a car that was being driven by a soldier. When the car collided with an eightseat minivan the woman sustained serious injuries and died at the scene of the accident. RO who was driving the minivan was going in the direction of the Indira Gandhiweg while the soldier, AS, was going in the opposite direction. RO ended up on the other side of the road before colliding with the car.

RO and his 3 passengers were taken to the hospital while AS and his passengers were also taken to the ER. Both drivers have a valid driver’s license.
