Police take action against perpetrators

The police recently took action against people who were partying in Paramaribo. Police officers also had a serious talk with the owners of supermarkets who were open for business during curfew. The owner of a supermarket and a restaurateur whose businesses are located along the Fajalobistraat were instructed to close their doors.

The police also instructed retailers whose businesses are located along the Koningstraat, Gemenelandsweg, Zinnia and the Zwartenhovenbrugstraat to lock up for the night.The police units also pulled over to shut down a party along the Birambiestraat. There was also an illegal party along Limesgracht.
