Diana Orving
The essence in her artistic expression is movement, changeability, materiality, body and narrative. Stockholm textile artist and fashion designer Diana Orving is multifaceted, with a distinctive style characterized by an organic feel and movement through layers, volume and beautifully draped fabrics. Her versatility, ranging from playful and stylish garments to creative sculptural showpieces and other textile artworks, is now visible in two very different settings. She’s part of the Art in Fashion exhibition at Sven-Harry’s Konstmuseum, on display until 27 September, and at the same time we can see her spectacular art draperies gracing the interiors of Stockholm’s new high-end restaurant Aira on Djurgården.
