Some people just dare to buck the trend – and open a new restaurant during what is probably the deepest restaurant crisis we’ve seen in our lifetimes. Brothers Olle and Moltas Nordin, both in their early 20’s, have found a new niche in the market, a herring bar. They serve both classic Swedish herring and innovative new takes, paired with snaps, beer and cocktails. According to the brothers themselves, the venture – located in the premises previously occupied by Breakfast and Wine, at Fridhemsplan on Kungsholmen, and graced with Oasis’ logo modified as Sillbaren – is as chilled-out as they are themselves.
