TWINS’ STORY BROUGHT TO DOUBLE LIFE

The intense life story of the Siamese twins, Eng and Chang, will be brought to life in Eng–Chang The Musical, which will premiere at Mahidol University’s Prince Mahidol Hall, Salaya campus, on Oct 16 at 1pm.

The musical, which deals with the twins’ lives and loves, is presented by the Music Business Department of Mahidol University’s College of Music.

Taking the title roles of Siamese twins will be Bodin Piyatanasi­rikul and Tulanan Narasetapi­sarn, two members of the country’s first and only pop-opera band Fivera.

The new production also features singer Thanaporn “Parn” Waekprayoo­n; Tachaya “Keng” Prathumwan, former contestant of The Voice TV show; Ah–Eye from The Voice Kids and actor Jakkapan “Kong” Tantasuwan­na.

The musical is directed by Bhanbhassa Dhubthien, with Napisi Reyes taking care of the musical scores. Internatio­nal award-winning Thai composer Narong Prangcharo­en has also joined the musical production team.

After the premiere, the performanc­e will be staged onon Oct 16 and 23 at 7pm, Oct 17 and 24 at 1pm and 7pm, and Oct 18 and 25 at 1pm.
