Fix yourself up first

-

The US government through its representative, ambassador Glyn Davies, has suggested that Thailand should move quickly back to democracy. As an aside, do Thais really want to get the major parties back as both have managed the country so badly? The audacity of the US government is incredible telling the present Thai government what it should do when its own democracy is a joke. The fact is the US is owned by the corporates. The US social structure is a crumbling mess, some examples are:

The gap between the “haves” and the “have-nots” has widened significantly over the past 20 years.

Racism is rampant. Police forces around the US prove this on a regular basis. For example, a teenage black boy, who didn’t have a gun, was shot 16 times by one policeman.

The gun laws could only have been written in a lunatic asylum. The fact that nothing is done to correct these laws even even though shooting massacres happen on a regular basis (355 this year alone). As I write this letter another massacre has taken place!

Climate change is a reality and US President Barack Obama has been working with 150 other country leaders in Paris to produce actions in an attempt to reduce the impact of this serious problem. But back in Washington the Republican idiots are refusing to accept the reality of climate change and are working to stop Mr Obama bringing in regulations and new technology to combat this major problem.

Democracy means that anyone in any country can become the president or leader of that country. In the US no “person on the street”, for example a GP, a teacher, an emergency worker, can become president. To become US president the person must have or access to billions of dollars for their campaign — this is not democracy!

So America fix your own country first of all before telling others what they should do!
