Food for health Siam Paragon, Rama I Road 10am-9pm, until tomorrow The “Food for Health: Five Colourful Vegetables with Tasty Advantage” features a variety of fresh produce and products made with vegetables from the Royal Project. On exhibit will be informatio­n about the Royal Project’s findings on the research and developmen­t of vegetable seeds and the benefits of consuming various types of fruits and veggies. Chefs from leading restaurant­s, hotels and also the Royal Project will take turns to present a cooking demonstrat­ion every day.

Items include premium beef, genuine Japanese wasabi and tea, processed foods and Japanese confection­eries such as dorayaki, Daifuku and Manjuu.

Lanna market Fashion Island, Ram Intra Road 11am-8pm, until Dec 10 The sixth “Lanna Market Visitation Fair” features the atmosphere of two Lanna-style markets in Chiang Mai’s Wiang Kao community — Kaad Luang and Ta Pae Gate. Northern local cuisine, local goods, accessorie­s and other Lanna-style products are available and household utensils, handicraft­s, costumes, folk plays and songs are exhibited.

Adventure with Tarzan Seacon Bangkae, Phetkasem Road 11am-8pm, until Dec 13 The “Tarzan: The Adventure” fair features several extreme outdoor activities including ropes courses, zip line, slack line and trampoline, free of charge. There is also an Animal Planet zone featuring rare and colourful animals, a daily jungle dance and Maori dance, and sales of camping gear.

Thai crafts Jasmine City Building, Sukhumvit Soi 23 Today, 10am-3pm The “ThaiCraft” fair features thousands of handcrafte­d items of all kinds including ceramics, baskets, jewellery, textiles, toiletries, decor items and housewares. A special fun workshop will take you to create a novel spiral tree with shiny beads conducted by Siam Care’s artisans. The next fair will take place at Bumrungrad Hospital, Sukhumvit Soi Nana Nua, on Dec 11-12 from 9am to 5pm.

Farmer’s market PB Valley Khao Yai Winery Nakhon Ratchasima Today-Dec 13, 9am-6pm The “PB Valley Farmer Market 2015” features outstandin­g products from Pak Chong including fresh fruits and vegetables and Otop products by local farmers. This is also a chance to enjoy live music and a variety of food and beverages in the evening on weekends and public holidays.
