Clarification

In the story titled “Chinese ambassador presents 99 bicycles to govt” on page 2 of the Dec 9 edition, it mentioned Thai Frozen Foods Association secretary-general Arthon Phromphatthanaphak saying migrant workers in the frozen food industry would not be paid for taking the day off to take part in the “Bike for Dad” event because they were paid on a daily basis.

However, all employees in the frozen food industry wanting to participate in “Bike for Dad” had full backing from their employers and would be paid if they took the day off to take part in the event.
