I smell a cover-up

I have tried to be as supportive of this government as I can be, but their abandonment of their top human trafficking investigator in the middle of his investigation and the fact that he felt so threatened that he needed to flee the country and seek asylum abroad ( BP, Dec 11) lead me to believe this government is trying to cover up something very serious.

If Gen Prayut is truly as committed to enforcing the rule of law as he says he is, why isn’t he protecting Maj Gen Paween?
