Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Fathers and Daughters
Amanda Seyfried plays a young daughter of a troubled father, Jake (Russel Crowe), a Pulitzer Prize-winning writer who lost his wife in a car accident. Jake struggles to come to terms with the loss while reconnecting with his daughter. Directed by Gabriele Muccino.
Point Break
A remake of the 1991 crime thriller, the film tells the story of an FBI agent who infiltrates a tight-knit group of extreme sport athletes suspected of being behind a number of heists. The agent’s true loyalty is tested when he becomes a core member of the group. Directed by Ericson Core.
The Guitar King
This Thai documentary tells the story of Lam Morrison, a legendary guitarist from the 1970s. Now a 72-yearold, Lam goes back to Norway and Germany, where he once went on tour as a young musician. Directed by Passakorn Pramunwong.
In The Heart Of The Sea
This high seas adventure film is based on the 1820 incident that inspired Herman Melville’s Moby-Dick. Chris Hemsworth plays a whaling ship captain who’s stranded in the middle of the ocean with his crew after a large sperm whale attacks the vessel. Directed by Ron Howard.
Roon Pee (Senior)
In this Thai horror film, a convent student has a special gift that lets her feel the spirits of dead people. At her school, she teams up with the ghost of a senior male student and together they set out to investigate a murder case that took place 30 years ago in the school. Directed by Wisit Sasanatieng. Krampus
A happy Christmas turns into a nightmare at a family gathering. Following a bad experience at the dinner table, a young boy accidentally summons the vicious spirit of Krampus, who descends upon the house to wreak havoc. Directed by Michael Dougherty.

Carey Mulligan stars in this drama set against the suffragette movement of 1912, when a band of working-class women come together to demand the British parliament grant them voting rights and equality for women. The Good Dinosaur
Pixar’s new movie imagines the prehistoric world where a fateful meteor misses Earth and dinosaurs live happily. An Apatosaurus called Arlo is separated from his herd and meets a human child. This is the story of their friendship and voyage across the land. Directed by Peter Sohn.
The Lobster
In this strange drama set in the future, people who stay single are ostracised and shipped to a special hotel, where they have to find a romantic partner in 45 days. Those who fail to pair up will be turned into an animal of their choice. Colin Farrell plays David, a man who escapes from the hotel to join a band of militant loners in a fight against romantic dictatorship. Also starring Rachel Weisz and Lea Seydoux.
