STRENGTH, PASSION AND SUCCESS

-

An unlikely collaboration between a luxury brand and a rugby team has materialised as Bulgari’s Octo All Blacks 100 Club timepiece, which pays tribute to New Zealand’s three-time winning team of the Rugby World Cup.

“The limited edition embodies the common values shared by Bulgari and the All Blacks team, both universally recognised as being synonymous with passion, commitment, teamwork, success and victories, each in their own realm,” said Bulgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin.

In the game for more than 100 years, the original All Blacks team undertook a ground-breaking tour of Europe and North America in 1905; this significant year, along with the emblematic silver fern leaf, appears on the smoky sapphire crystal of the case back.

Corresponding to the players’ black jerseys, the stainless steel case has a DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating while the anthracite dial is adorned with a Maori mask pattern.

The aesthetics is combined with precision and performance driven by the 28-jewel mechanical self-winding movement with a precision of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) while providing a 50-hour power reserve

The rugged sports watch is presented in a rugby ball-shaped box.
