MISSING MAN FOUND AFTER 2 WEEKS
NARA: A 53-year-old man who went missing two weeks ago on a western Japan mountain has been found alive but injured and in a weak condition, police said yesterday. Atsuhide Togashi, a senior official of the Shimane prefectural government, was found near a shelter in a mountainous area in the village of Tenkawa around 12.20pm, they said. A climber spotted Mr Togashi standing on a trail carrying a rucksack. Mr Togashi was transported to a hospital by helicopter.
