For those needing a Thai mainstream-music fix, Chang Music Connection Musictropo­lis is back on Jan 27 with a gigantic series of concerts for the next four weeks at Jarun Burapharat Stadium. The festival kick-starts at 5pm with some of the biggest names in the Thai music industry, such as Lomosonic, Tattoo Colour, Sweet Mullet and JoeyBoy with F*cking Hero, and DJ Spydamonke­e taking over the stage. Life just got a little more convenient in Bangkok, as Uber has launched their much-anticipate­d UberEats app this week. As a food-delivery platform, UberEats promises to deliver cuisine from the best restaurant­s in Bangkok — like Krua Apsorn, Appia, Ippudo, Daniel Thaiger, Rocket Coffeebar and Mae Varee — right to your doorstep. Simply download the UberEats applicatio­n in the Apple Store or Google Play, and you’re all set to order. As of now, services will only be available in Yaowarat, Sathon, Silom, Siam and Sukhumvit.
