ALL ABOUT ORCHIDS (The Promenade, Ram Intra Road, 11am-8pm, until tomorrow) Held under the theme “89 Species In 89 Years Under The Reign Of King Rama IX”, the “Blooming Orchid 2017” fair features a selection of orchids named after members of the Royal Family, orchids whose names are granted by the Royal Family, rare and exotic orchids, and an orchid contest featuring 50 sets of 12 beautiful species. Orchid tools and accessorie­s are available at special prices and 1,000 plants are given away to those who spend 1,500 baht at the shopping centre on the weekends. 8pm, until tomorrow) The 12th “Paed Rew Mango Festival” features many species of mangoes from 100 vendors from Paed Rew of Rayong province. They include nam dokmai,

PRODUCTS TO HELP THE SOUTH (Future Park, Phahon

Yothin Road, 11am-8pm, until March 19) A variety of quality products from the “Community Products By Princess Pa Foundation” project are available for purchase with proceeds going to help those affected by the floods in 12 southern provinces. The outstandin­g products and processed products include sangyod brown rice, prawn paste, fish curry paste, crispy durian and banana, processed garcinia, bird nest, local fabric handmade bags and rice milk soap.
