Gottimize upbeat on apps

Gottimize Co, a digital media agency, expects to double its revenue this year by expanding the client base to cover real estate, consumer products and e-commerce companies.

Managing director Kornnikar Niwatsaiwong said the client base expansion is to serve growing demand for online advertising from many companies and brands that want to spend more on ad budgets for social media, especially mobile applications.

Gottimize sees the potential of the rising online advertising trend, and many clients want to have their mobile apps strengthen their business and drive sales in the digital era.

“We’re ready to be part of their business success by helping shape online marketing campaigns for their apps to build sustainable growth,” Ms Kornnikar said.

This year Gottimize expects to boost the revenue contribution from real estate, consumer product and e-commerce companies to 50% of the total, with the remainder coming from game developers. Last year, 80% of revenue came from game developers.

Pakasupt Petchdee, managing director for digital media, said there will be an influx of mobile apps this year and it’s important brands promote their apps to the right targets as consumers have more choices.

“I’m confident Gottimize will help brands to manage their mobile apps and create effective online marketing campaigns that appeal to customers,” he said.

An Electronic Transactions Development Agency report last year found 85% of people with mobile internet access were active, an increase of four percentage points from 2015. Thai mobile users spent 6.2 hours on mobile internet per day last year.

Gottimize predicts online ad spending will exceed 12 billion baht this year, up 25% from last year’s 9.8 billion.

In 2016 the company posted full-year revenue of 110 million baht, mostly from 100 clients in fast-moving consumer goods and insurance.

This year’s revenue is projected to double to 220 million thanks to a wider variety of clients.

In the past two years, Gottimize has teamed up with Yello Mobile, South Korea’s leading mobile company, to provide advertising management solutions on social media applications as many businesses gradually turn to online advertising.
