An expo for the outdoorsy
Golfers and divers shouldn’t miss this. The Thailand Golf & Dive Expo will take place at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Ratchadaphisek Road, from tomorrow to Sunday, 11am-8pm.
The two-in-one annual expo will feature more than 250 booths offering special prices on a complete range of products and services from entrepreneurs by way of Malaysia, the Philippines, Maldives, Singapore, China, Indonesia and Thailand.
This is an opportunity for divers to look for diving courses, local and overseas diving trips, resorts, live-board boats, diving equipment and accessories, and underwater cameras. For golfers, more than 50 courses will present their services and accommodations, alongside equipment, apparel, footwear and accessories.
The four-day event will feature an underwater photo contest; seminars by underwater-photography gurus; a talk on free-diving techniques; a video presentation of underwater pictures taken by several divers from Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand; a putting competition; and a mini driving range.
Also running under the same roof will be the Wonderful Thailand & Outdoor Fest 2017, organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand. Tourism agencies, tour operators, airlines, hotels and resorts, and cruise ships will offer special packages and promotions. Adventure-tour operators will show off the latest camping, diving, sea-canoeing, kayaking, rock-climbing, sea-scooting, and other equipment at special prices.
