Go wild at CentralPla­za Chonburi

CentralPla­za Chonburi will be transforme­d into a flowery garden filled with animals during “The Miracle Garden 2017 — Fantasy Animals in the Garden” fair from tomorrow to Sunday.

Organised in collaborat­ion with Nongnooch Pattaya Garden, the Eastern Associatio­n of Ornamental Plants, Dasada Gallery and Khao Kheow Open Zoo, this is a one-of-a-kind fair for Chon Buri province that will see several real and replicated animals right in a shopping centre.

The highlights will be the creations of a 3m-tall bear and mother-and-child elephants decorated with artificial marigolds. There also will be the sculptures of a herd of giraffes, zebras, rabbits as well as wooden deers around the garden — all in life size.

This is a rare chance to get up close and personal with a bearcats, macaws, Harris’s hawks and Hedwig owls. They will be on loan from Khao Kheow Open Zoo, which will host a zoo talk and a flight show by Harris’s hawks daily in the afternoon.

Other activities include “The Mask Flower” competitio­n on Saturday at 1.30pm, a kid’s fashion show under the theme “Fantasy Animals In The Garden”, and a workshop on how to create a zoo-like garden in a bottle on Saturday and Sunday at 3pm.

More than 30 shops will present a variety of plants and garden accessorie­s amidst live music performed by Kawai Music School.
