Exhibitions by designers from seven fields
Dozens of international award-winning designers from 15 countries will present their design projects during the Cross The Line — ADP Joint Exhibition at Sombat Permpoon Gallery for two weeks from tomorrow to June 6.
Organised by Asia Designer Communication Platform, the first cross-spectrum design association in Asia, the exhibition will feature select projects by 32 Asian and Western designers from seven design fields: architecture, graphic, interior, exhibition, product, fashion and stage.
Works will be presented in a two-dimensional, multimedia format. Among the designers are Alexander Lotersztain (Argentina), Annie Ivanova (Australia), Camiel Weijenberg (the Netherlands), Chen Shao Hua (China), Chung Han Tang and Timmy Chou (Taiwan), Conor Clarke (Ireland), Kikuma Watanabe (Japan) and Yarinda Bunnag (Thailand). Those interested are invited to attend lectures on topics including “Crafting The Traditional Through Design And Dialogue” and “Are You Cats Or Dogs?”.
The lectures will be held tomorrow from 2-5pm at Hubba-to, Southeast Asia’s newest co-working and creative space located on the third floor of Habito Mall on Sukhumvit Road in On Nut.
The talks are open to the public on a firstcome, first-served basis. Sombat Permpoon Gallery is on Sukhumvit 1 and is open from 9am8pm on weekdays.
