DECORTÉ SKIN MOISTURISER COMES TO PARAGON
Recently having opened a new counter at Paragon Department Store, Decorté draws on Asian wisdom and scientific innovation in making skincare that helps support the skin’s qi or life force in maintaining a youthful-looking complexion.
Optimising moisturisation is also a key to healthy skin, said Nobuhiko Makishima, Decorté’s product manager at Kose Corporation, Japan.
“If the skin is well moisturised, it can better absorb nutrients from skincare products more effectively. The moisturisation, however, has to go deep into the skin,” said Makishima.
Micro-liposome capsules make that possible. Skincare ingredients are encapsulated in multilayered liposomes measuring 0.1-0.2 microns. Composed of 10-20 layers, the liposome peels off one by one in a time-release manner to sustain the hydration.
Moisture Liposome Hydration Boosting Serum has been a bestseller since it became available in Thailand 11 years ago.
The new AQMW product range features another moisturising technology, mucinsome, which protects skin prone to fine lines or dryness by enveloping it in a veil of moisture.
“Since 1970, Decorté’s R&D has developed technologies to deliver ingredients to the skin in order to promote beauty from inside out,” he said.
AQMW formulas also contain a calming sandalwood scent and essential oils that help restore the skin’s condition.
Formerly named Cosme Decorté, a combination of the French words “cosmetique” and “decoration”, the Japanese brand also expresses luxury through packaging design.
World-renowned art director Marcel Wanders created the packaging for the AQMW range, which includes anti-ageing Repletion 4D serum that makes the skin appear lifted from the centre of the cheeks.
Besides the new counter at Paragon Department Store, Decorté skincare collections are available at Central Chidlom, Isetan and Paradise Park.
