The hotel has been serving beach lovers for decades, however, it remains in excellent shape, thanks to continual maintenance. This is a family hotel packed with facilities and activities that keep kids busy while their parents enjoy quiet moments. It is a nice place for those who want to spend an easy beach holiday without getting into crowded Cha-am or Hua Hin town.
ATMOSPHERE
A relaxing atmosphere fills the place. Guests are greeted by actors dressed as animated characters. Everyone comes here to enjoy their holidays.
LOCATION
The hotel is situated in a quiet corner of Phetchaburi, between Cha-am and Hua Hin. Guests can get around to explore restaurants, shopping facilities, or visit nearby water parks and attractions in both beach destinations. Marugadayawan Summer Palace is located a short drive away.
CLEANLINESS
I visited the hotel when maintenance work was being done at the restaurant and gym. Everything was clean and tidy without dust to bother the adjacent dining area. My room, the walkways and other common areas are spotless. The pool area, kids’ club and lawn were tidy.
SERVICE QUALITY
All staff are active to help and deliver the best services. Smiles never leave their faces and they recognise guests by name. Staff at the kids’ club take good care of your little ones. Pool staff are polite and quite helpful.
FACILITIES
The big blue pool and towering slide are the main magnet of the beachside area. Besides restaurants, the hotel offers multipurpose rooms for a big party. The Executive Suite comes with a living area and great view. Moreover, guests can access the executive lounge for free drinks and snacks in the evening.
F&B
Buffet breakfast here is sumptuous with wide a selection of food, both Thai and Western style. An automatic pancake machine is quite popular. The beachside Ocean Terrace Restaurant serves great seafood for dinner. A Thai restaurant is also available if you want to experience authentic spicy Thai dishes.
GUEST SAFETY
Guests can access their rooms via elevators located close to the lobby where hotel staff watch the area around the clock. CCTVs are installed at important corners. The hotel is surrounded with high walls. Guards watch the parking area and beach.
ENVIRONMENTAL & SOCIAL CONCERNS
Destination Kids Foundation helps disadvantaged and impoverished children by providing donations, educational programmes and by organising special events. Guests can help by buying T-shirts or donating 30 baht per stay.
SPA
The In Balance Spa provides a wide range of treatments. I have tried the stress relief massage (60 minutes for 1,300 baht), which delivered great comfort. The two-hour spa buffet is available at 1,999 baht for various treatments.
RATE
Superior Room is priced from 2,500 baht per night with breakfast for two. An Executive Suite is priced around 4,200 baht per night with breakfast for two adults and two kids. Rates vary.
