Tell us about MAC.

MAC Bangkok is part of the MAC international network. It’s already present throughout Asia, Africa and Europe. MAC is an independent comedy booking facilitator that has created an international comedy circuit, showcasing the world’s best comics!

What does MAC bring to the scene in Bangkok and how was the first show in Thailand?

MAC will host the world’s best comics every month at The Drunken Leprechaun Irish Pub. The next show is Thursday, June 1, with the international joke machine, Ron Josol. The first show with comedy legend Phil Nichol was a huge hit. The feedback has been amazing.

What can future audiences expect from MAC in the coming months?

Irish comedy legend Martin Mor will hit the stage on Thursday, July 20. Audiences can expect an incredibly intimate experience each month with world class headliners. Seeing this level of comedy for only B600 a ticket in such an intimate venue is a truly special experience.

What was your first real comedy bit about and how do you feel about it now?

One of the first bits I remember doing was about writing poetry while having attention deficit disorder. I called it At

tention Deficit Poetry. Here’s one: we are soulful creatures of the 21st century. Mother Earth is sick and she needs our help. A hamster is just a sexy rat. Pretty dumb. It got some laughs.
