THURSDAY: TC Subaru Thailand Co, a distributo­r of Subaru cars, is launching the new model of Subaru Forester 2.0i-S at its showroom on Seri Thai Road, Bangkok.

NEWS CONFERENCE­S

TUESDAY: Bangkok Bank and Nest, a fintech investment company, are holding a media conference to introduce new fintech innovative startups from around the world. The briefing is being led by Chartsiri Sophonpani­ch, president and director of Bangkok Bank and Lawrence Morgan, Nest chief executive, at the Okura Prestige Bangkok Hotel. Amway Thailand Co is holding a news briefing on its cooperatio­n with Tpark to open a new distributi­on centre in Tpark logistics park, located in Bang Phli district, Samut Prakan province. The briefing will be conducted by executives of the two companies at The Renaissanc­e Bangkok Ratchapras­ong Hotel. THURSDAY: Korea’s Nexon, a leading gaming developer and service provider, is opening an office in Thailand, with the aim of using it as a hub to support business in the region. Executives will provide updates on the overall gaming business and expansion plans in Thailand at Nexon Thailand Co’s office at G Tower, Rama IX Road.

FRIDAY: The Office of the Energy Regulatory Commission of Thailand is hosting “The 6th Internatio­nal Forum — Towards Smart Regulation” at Grand Hall, Plaza Athenee Bangkok. Gen Nattipon Kanokchot, adviser to the Minister of Energy, will chair the opening ceremony and deliver a keynote speech at the event. SATURDAY: The Market for Alternativ­e Investment (MAI), has joined with the MAI-Listed Company Associatio­n to organise “MAI Forum 2017” for the fourth consecutiv­e year. The forum aims to provide investors with capital market and economic informatio­n updates, as well as opportunit­ies to meet MAI-listed executives for corporate insights on business growth potential. MONDAY: The Federation of Thai Industries has joined with Siam Commercial Bank Plc to hold the 14th SCB-FTI Factory Outlet Sale, featuring a variety of products from over 200 booths of Thai SMEs. The event runs until Saturday at Mahisorn Hall, SCB headquarte­rs on Ratchadaph­isek Road. THURSDAY: Saha Group, in cooperatio­n with its subsidiari­es, is holding the 21st Saha Group Fair at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The four-day fair, ending on Sunday, will exhibit innovation­s, new products and services developed by the group. There will be over 1,000 exhibition booths where a variety of products from Sahapat and its subsidiary — ranging from food and drinks, household goods, clothes, leather goods, shoes, cosmetics, sports goods and electrical appliances — are available at special prices.
