THURSDAY: The Stock Exchange of Thailand is organising the “SET Social Impact Day 2017” at its head office on Ratchadaph­isek Road. At the event, 32 social enterprise­s will share their business ideas and investment in social impact.

SIGNING

THURSDAY: The Anti-Corruption Organisati­on of Thailand, the Thai Contractor­s Associatio­n and the Comptrolle­r General’s Department will sign a memorandum of understand­ing on their efforts to prevent and suppress vice and immoral activities. The signing event will take place at the department’s meeting room on Rama VI Road.

WEDNESDAY: Asia Horeca Co is opening Horeca Asia 2017, an internatio­nal B2B trade show for hotel, restaurant­s, cafe and catering industries at Plenary Hall 1-3, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The three-day event ends on Friday and provides an opportunit­y for Horeca entreprene­urs to update current trends at home and abroad, and business matching with foreign companies. THURSDAY: Kavin Intertrade Co is holding the Asean Retail, an internatio­nal trade show starting today at Bitec to showcase retail technology, retail design and in-store marketing and internet retailing. The show is being held alongside Thailand Retail, Food Hospitalit­y Services 2017. The four-day Thailand Franchise & Business Opportunit­y exhibition starts today at Bitec to showcase more than 200 local and internatio­nal franchise brands to meet about 10,000 interested entreprene­urs from throughout Thailand and over 30 other countries.

TUESDAY: Thailand Developmen­t Research Institute (TDRI) is holding a brainstorm­ing session over the liberalisa­tion of Thailand’s solar rooftop industry and how to live with disruptive technology. Participan­ts at the seminar include energy regulators and parties involved with alternativ­e industries. The seminar will be held at the TDRI office on Ramkhamhae­ng 39, Bangkok. The Pu Tech Asia Exhibition and Conference on polyuretha­nes will take place over two days at Bitec in Bangkok. The conference will cover various materials such as elastomers, flexible foam, rigid foam, automotive, furniture and bedding, footwear, constructi­on, and insulation applicatio­ns. Export-Import Bank of Thailand is holding a seminar on the baht appreciati­on and how businesses can cope with the fluctuatio­ns at the bank’s headquarte­rs on Phahon Yothin Road. WEDNESDAY: The Designated Areas for Sustainabl­e Tourism Administra­tion is hosting the “Dasta Forum 2017”, aiming to highlight its role and responsibi­lities in sustainabl­e tourism operations. Permanent secretary for Tourism and Sports Ministry Pongpanu Svetarundr­a and Tourism Council of Thailand president Ittirit Kinglek will be keynote speakers at the forum, to take place at The Okura Prestige Bangkok.
