THURSDAY: The Stock Exchange of Thailand is organising the “SET Social Impact Day 2017” at its head office on Ratchadaphisek Road. At the event, 32 social enterprises will share their business ideas and investment in social impact.
SIGNING
THURSDAY: The Anti-Corruption Organisation of Thailand, the Thai Contractors Association and the Comptroller General’s Department will sign a memorandum of understanding on their efforts to prevent and suppress vice and immoral activities. The signing event will take place at the department’s meeting room on Rama VI Road.

WEDNESDAY: Asia Horeca Co is opening Horeca Asia 2017, an international B2B trade show for hotel, restaurants, cafe and catering industries at Plenary Hall 1-3, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The three-day event ends on Friday and provides an opportunity for Horeca entrepreneurs to update current trends at home and abroad, and business matching with foreign companies. THURSDAY: Kavin Intertrade Co is holding the Asean Retail, an international trade show starting today at Bitec to showcase retail technology, retail design and in-store marketing and internet retailing. The show is being held alongside Thailand Retail, Food Hospitality Services 2017. The four-day Thailand Franchise & Business Opportunity exhibition starts today at Bitec to showcase more than 200 local and international franchise brands to meet about 10,000 interested entrepreneurs from throughout Thailand and over 30 other countries.

TUESDAY: Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI) is holding a brainstorming session over the liberalisation of Thailand’s solar rooftop industry and how to live with disruptive technology. Participants at the seminar include energy regulators and parties involved with alternative industries. The seminar will be held at the TDRI office on Ramkhamhaeng 39, Bangkok. The Pu Tech Asia Exhibition and Conference on polyurethanes will take place over two days at Bitec in Bangkok. The conference will cover various materials such as elastomers, flexible foam, rigid foam, automotive, furniture and bedding, footwear, construction, and insulation applications. Export-Import Bank of Thailand is holding a seminar on the baht appreciation and how businesses can cope with the fluctuations at the bank’s headquarters on Phahon Yothin Road. WEDNESDAY: The Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration is hosting the “Dasta Forum 2017”, aiming to highlight its role and responsibilities in sustainable tourism operations. Permanent secretary for Tourism and Sports Ministry Pongpanu Svetarundra and Tourism Council of Thailand president Ittirit Kinglek will be keynote speakers at the forum, to take place at The Okura Prestige Bangkok.

WEDNESDAY: Siam Motors Industries Co has partnered with JWD InfoLogistics Plc by setting up a new joint venture, Siam JWD Logistics Co, to provide integrated logistics services. They will hold a press conference at Siam@Siam Design Hotel Bangkok, near the National Stadium to provide information on the collaboration. THURSDAY: Tyrepac, an online auto tyre trader based in Singapore, is briefing the media on the plan to launch activity in Thailand.
