A trio of worldly culinary events
Three major culinary events will transform Central Embassy and Central Chidlom into the tastiest food destination in Bangkok for almost three weeks until July 31, 10am-9pm.
Held under the “Eating Is A Big Thing” concept, “The World On A Plate” will feature special discounts and offers at every restaurant on the 5th and 6th floor of Central Embassy. The highlight is the presentation of secret recipes from 10 top eateries on the 5th floor, including Another Hound Café, Bao and Buns, Broccoli Revolution, Egg My God, Chikalicious Dessert Bar, Siwilai Café, Som Tam Nua, The Girl & The Pig, The Meat Bar and Rico.
This is also a chance to learn more about the food we eat daily and indulge in delectable dishes by renowned restaurants at 20 booths. On the weekend, teen actors will cook alongside famous chefs to raise funds for the Tiang Chirathivat Foundation to help the underprivileged.
“The Full Flavours Of Thailand” will present local delicacies from across the four regions at the Eathai zone on the ground floor from July 21-31. Available at the Eathai Market will be handicrafts and souvenirs, including textiles, mineral soaps and silks. Local Thai performances and workshops will be presented from July 29-30, free of charge.
Set to take place at Food Loft, 7th floor of Central Chidlom, from July 21-31 will be “A World Of Desserts”, where plenty of sweet treats from famous shops will be offered. They include milk ice cream topped with Californian honeycomb from Honeymee, green tea and charcoal ice cream from Kyo Roll En, lava buns from Salapao Shanghai and British-style cakes and tarts from Yellow Spoon.
There will be live music and fun activities for children on the weekend, plus giveaways and special offers.
