MONDAY: A two-day conference called the 13th Asia IoT Business Platform starts today at the Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel. This year it will focus on the topic of “Understanding IoT Needs of Businesses in Thailand”. After a keynote address, panel discussions will cover a spectrum of topics including industry trends and outlooks, industrial Internet of Things (IoT), transport and logistics, public services, smart cities, banking, finance and retail, and next-generation technologies. The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) will hold a seminar on capital market research, featuring topics on how Thailand benefits from offshore investment by the private sector. The conference at the SET’s head office on Ratchadaphisek Road will also delve into the overseas investments of listed companies as of the end of last year, as well as the global value chain and emerging market multinationals. The Office of Industrial Economics will hold a forum called “Industry 4.0 Roadmap: Transforming Towards Thailand 4.0” at the Royal Jubilee Ballroom, Impact Muang Thong Thani.

MONDAY: The Industrial Works Department has partnered with the Federation of Thai Industries to reveal and demonstrate a so-called Auto E-licence, part of an automated system of managing industrial waste. The event will take place at Jupiter Room 8-10, Challenger Hall, Impact Muang Thong Thani. Pisit Rangsaritwutikul, secretary-general of the Thai Industrial Standard Institute, will report on the agency’s performance at its office on Rama 6 Road, Ratchathewi, Bangkok. WEDNESDAY: Kaidee.com, a leading market for classified ads for second-hand goods in Thailand, is revealing the results of its first six months of operation as well as insights into and the predicted outlook for online car sales at RodKaidee, AIA Capital Centre, Ratchadaphisek Road.

TUESDAY: The Industry Promotion Department of the Industry Ministry will hold the Thailand Industry Expo 2017 under the theme “One Transformation, Thousand Opportunities” together with the implementation of the new economic model Thailand 4.0, at Challenger Hall, Impact Muang Thong Thani. The event will end on Sunday. Thai Textile Institute, the Office of Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion, and the Industrial Promotion Department showcase the 10 best collections from 10 brands created by applying innovation and technology. The event will also cover business matching, a fashion chief executive forum, and activities to promote a new era of designers called, “Innoneering Designer”. The event will be held at Challenger Hall, Muang Thong Thani. Siam Iron Yamamoto, the producer of H-beam steel products will showcase its new iron parking structure at 1-3 Challenger Hall, Impact Muang Thong Thani until Sunday.

SATURDAY: Coca-Cola is launching “Eat Together and Taste the Feeling with Coke”, an innovative street-food festival, featuring more than 100 top street-food shops from across Thailand. The festival will take place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center until Sunday, Central Festival in Hat Yai during July 29-30, and Safe One Market Square in Nakhon Ratchasima on August 5-6.
