Study free at Chula
As part of its 100th-anniversary celebration, Chulalongkorn University has great news for the public: the institution is offering online courses free of charge.
The courses will come in a variety of topics. The first three — “Marketing In The 21st Century”, “Understanding Financial Statements” and “Arabic For Daily Life” — will begin in mid-October. The first two will be taught by Dr Kritinee Pongtanalert and Assoc Prof Pimpana Peetathwatchai, respectively, both are from Chula’s Faculty
of Commerce and Accountancy.
The lecturer for the Arabic course will be Dr Songsak Madsalae from the Faculty of Arts.
Coming soon are three more courses, namely “Critical Thinking For Business”, “How To Create Infographics” and “IT Security”. Like the first three, they will be conducted in Thai.
Certificates will be granted to attendants who perform with certain scores, which vary from course to course. Interested persons can register for the online classes at mooc. chula.ac.th until Oct 15.
It is recommended that you enrol via computer or use popular independent browsers such as Chrome or Firefox on your mobile device, since the secured website may be difficult to open with your phone’s default browser. After registration, participants will be informed about the schedule of each course.
