1Another Italian talent is dropping by Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit’s The Living Room to wow audiences with his world-class Jazz. For only one night, on Oct 19, Nicola Tariello Quintet will be performing three sets from his “Sotto Le Stelle Del Jazz” — “Under The Stars Of Jazz” — project, an evocative interpretation of Paolo Conte’s work under the same name. Tariello, a renowned trumpet player, will be exploring jazz from the 1920s all the way to his very own original arrangements. The Nicola Tariello Quintet will play three 45-minute sets at 9pm, 10pm and 11pm. An entertainment fee of 300 baht will be applied, except to guests spending at least 1,000 baht per person at any of Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit’s dining venues. 2 On Oct 18, House of Lucie in Ekkamai will be launching their next must-see show: the World Press Photo Exhibition 2017. It’s toured more than 45 countries since it began in 1955. Over 120 prize-winning photographs — including the harrowing image of the assassination of the Russian ambassador in Turkey and the poignant Taking A Stand In

Baton Rouge — will be displayed in the Bangkok gallery. The World Press Photo Exhibition will run from Oct 18 until Nov 11, with free admission. House of Lucie is open from 11am-6pm on Tuesdays to Fridays, and noon-5pm on Saturdays. 3 For those who don’t want to buy a whole tub of popcorn and simply just eat on the go, Garrett Popcorn has made life a bit easier with their latest creation, the Garrett Cone.
