THAI CRAFT (L floor of Jasmine City Building, Sukhumvit 23, today, 10am-3pm) The next “ThaiCraft” fair will feature handmade crafts that retain the human touch by skilled artisans from across the country. There will be a mini workshop titled “Petite Bouquet In A Bauble” showing how to create a flower potpourri inside a transparen­t bubble as an unusual hanging tree-decoration. HOME AND GARDEN (Impact Challenger Hall 1-3, Muang Thong Thani, 9.30am-9pm, until tomorrow) Held under the “Rememberin­g Our Guiding Light”, the “Baan Lae Suan Fair 2017” features a wide variety of products for homes and gardens and many activities throughout 3,200 booths. There is a display of demonstrat­ion houses designed under the “Divide-Connect-Abundance” theme, the Garden zone offering ideas on how to turn small spaces around the house into a garden, the exhibition-cum-workshop “My Home School” featuring DIY home decor tips and the ornamental plant competitio­ns. Prints and wood prints portraying the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej created by famous artists are exhibited. COLOURFUL BURANO (Seacon Square, Srinakarin Road, 11am-8pm, until Nov 12) Set in atmospheri­c Burano, the candy island of Italy, the “Colorful Burano” fair features the carnival-of-masks parade said to be the most ancient and famous carnival of Italy. The parade takes place daily at 3pm and 6pm, plus a 1pm show on Nov 3-5 and Nov 11-12. On display are more than 100 designs of exquisite carnival masks divided into three categories: fantasy masks, Commedia dell’Arte masks and Venice’s original white masks.
