DTAC offers lucky-number SIM sign-up
Total Access Communication (DTAC) is launching “Xiang Xiem” SIM, a fortune teller machine for lucky-number lovers who seek exceptional mobile numbers at Thailand Mobile Expo 2018.
The numbers are selected and guaranteed by Master Chang, Tossaporn Sritula. The campaign comes with a smartphone promotion of up to a 13,000-baht discount and 0% interest for up to 24 months with a smartphone purchase and signing up for service, including two offers for new SIM registration, the “Go No Limit” and “Super Non Stop” packages.
Go No Limit offers unlimited internet access with no speed drop-off and unlimited calls to DTAC numbers, while the Super Non Stop package provides non-stop internet access with unused internet rolled over to the next month.
Roj Dachodomphan, vice-president of DTAC and head of the postpaid division, said 2017 was an important year for the company as it surpassed rivals by i ntroducing digital technology to customers.
More than half of DTAC customers made their payments online via the DTAC app last year.
“We also had a Q&A chatbot that met up to 30% of customers’ needs,” Mr Roj said. “We plan to continue serving customers with easy and friendly digital services this year.”
At the four-day Thailand Mobile Expo, running until Sunday, DTAC is offering 72 gigabytes (6GB for 12 months) of internet access free when registering a new SIM on the Super Non Stop package starting at 599 baht.
A special promotion for switching to DTAC is a 50% discount with a share package subscription, as well as a discount of up to 13,000 baht on a smartphone purchase.
Customers buying a smartphone at the expo will receive a free gift worth up to 1,990 baht such as a Paul Frank speaker, cylindrical speaker, DTAC backpack, camera tripod from Huawei or Line power bank.
