Fun, food and Buddha statues

-

Future Park and Zpell will set aside a large space of up to 2,000m² for three days of Songkran fun during Zanook Fest 2018 from April 13-15.

Held under the theme “Delightful Songkran”, the fair is an auspicious opportunity to make merit and pour water onto Buddha statues for blessing at the Zpotlight, ground floor.

They are replicas of Buddha statues from nine famous temples in Bangkok, including Maitreya Buddha (Luang Poh To) from Wat Indharaviharn, the Emerald Buddha from Wat Phra Kaew, the Reclining Buddha from Wat Bodhi, the Dhammamisarajlok Thatdilok Buddha from Wat Arun, and Phra Prathan Yim Rub Fah from Wat Rakang.

Stationed at the Zappening zone will be a giant bouncy castle with wrecking ball, a sticky wall and a gladiator water slide. Rock climbing will also be available.

More than 30 famous restaurants will be there to serve their delicious treats, including Oh My Cheese, Italian Soda Bucket, Spicy Squidy, Lumyong Meatball and Taiyaki Fishcake.

Another highlight will be a mini-concert by three famous artists — Pongkul “Pop” Suebsueng on April 13, DJ Scratch Darkdong on April 14 and Sarunyoo “Ice” Winaipanich on April 15 — starting at 6pm, at the Alive Park Hall.

All visitors are encouraged to dress in Thai traditional outfits. Future Park and Zpell is on Phahon Yothin Road. There is no admission fee.
