MEDICAL FORUM: Dr Piyapatr Nabhawacharakul, director of BNH Hospital, and Dr Yasuhiro Otomo, senior deputy director of Tokyo Medical and Dental University, hosted the ‘First Asia Friendship Forum In Emergency Medicine On Acute Stroke And Myocardial Infarction In The Elderly” at Conrad Bangkok recently. The donation will support the ‘Genetic Cancer Research Center’ at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital. AGEING WORKSHOP: Thienchai Buddharangsi, deputy governor of Ubon Ratchathani, presided over a workshop sponsored by the Pfizer Healthy Ageing Society project, hosted by Siriwan Chuenchomsakun, trustee and secretary of Pfizer Thailand Foundation, at Lai Thong Hotel, Ubon Ratchathani. The workshop encouraged pre-senior citizens to adopt behavioural changes for a healthy and balanced life.
