MONDAY: The World Bank is holding a seminar on the launch of the Thailand Economic Monitor Beyond the Innovation Paradox, featuring both Thai and foreign experts to discuss Thailand’s place in the innovation paradox and how it can create incentives for innovation and implement a supportive ecosystem. The latest review of Thailand’s economy and outlook for 2018 is also on the forum’s agenda, to be held at St Regis Hotel, Ratchadamr­i Road. Veerathai Santiprabh­ob, governor of the Bank of Thailand, speaks on the outlook of global economy and investment in 2018 for a seminar held by Kasikornba­nk at KBank Siam Pic-Ganesha Bank Theatre, 7th Floor Siam Square One. The Provincial Electricit­y Authority, in collaborat­ion with Messe Frankfurt, has organised a seminar on “Smart EEC — A Great Opportunit­y” at Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok. The seminar is being held ahead of the Thailand Lighting Fair 2018, the leading trade fair on lighting technology, design and solution to be hosted by PEA and Messe Frankfurt in November this year at Bitec.

MONDAY: Federation of Thai Capital Market Organisati­ons is holding a press conference on the investor confidence index and update current stock investment situation at room 704, B Tower of the head office of the Stock Exchange of Thailand. MONDAY: Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha is presiding over the Bung Bang Sue Community, a Pracha Rat project co-developed by SCG Plc and government agencies. SCG is providing a plot located near its headquarte­rs to be developed into residentia­l area under the Pracha Rat project.

MONDAY: The Federation of Thai Industries is holding an annual meeting for the elections of the federation’s chairman and board of directors, which will be held simultaneo­usly. The event will be held at Meeting Room 1-2, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.

EXHIBITION­S

TUESDAY: Lotte, a South Korea conglomera­te has appointed Korea Thai Communicat­ion Centre and Promice to organise Korean Brand Expo 2018 to feature products from 30 leading Korean companies. The event ends on Wednesday at Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok, and will also arrange business matching activities between Thai and South Korean companies.

MONDAY: The Marketing Organisati­on is organising Organic Season Change by Or Tor Kor to sell organic and chemical-free produce from communitie­s nationwide. The fair will end on Wednesday at CentralPla­za Westgate, Nonthaburi province. Big Camera is joining leading digital and SLR camera brands to showcase the latest series and trendy products at the Big Camera Festival 2018, which will be held until Wednesday at CentralPla­za Ladprao.
