-

Interested Thai and foreign scuba divers have until April 20 to enter the “Underwater World In Your Eyes” photo contest to vie for prizes worth more than 300,000 baht.

Organised by NCC Exhibition, the 13th edition of the underwater photo contest is a platform for amateur and professional photographers to showcase their masterpieces taken from underwater and to raise awareness of marine life and environmental conservation.

The contest is accepting entries of any of the three categories — open macro, open wide angle and fixed lens compact camera. There are no restrictions to camera model for the first two categories.

Prizes include cash vouchers worth 40,000, 20,000 and 10,000 baht for the top three winners of each category, including three commendatory awards worth 5,000 baht each. There are also two special prizes for users of Olympus cameras — the Olympus TG-5 camera including the accessories, Housing PT-058 and Strobe UFL-3 for the best wide angle photo, and an Olympus E-M5MKII camera with a 12-50mm lens and Housing PT-EP13 for the best macro photo.
