EXPERIENCE CUBAN FLAVOURS AT ROOFTOP PARTY

Attitude, a rooftop bar and restaurant at Avani Riverside Bangkok Hotel, is holding the “Tropicana Party” this Friday from 1pm until late at night.

An alternative for those wishing to celebrate the Songkran Water Festival in a beach atmosphere, the party is divided into two parts. The “Tropicana Beach Pool Party” will get everyone to cool down with a dip in what is said to be Bangkok’s sexiest infinity pool.

DJ Naanza will roll out hits from the Billboard Top 100 at 1pm and tropical cocktails, and plates full of Caribbean specialities will be served poolside. All are encouraged to dress up Havana-style, grab some snaps in the photo booth, and share the photos on Instagram to win surprise gifts.

Starting at 7pm will be the Tropicana Groovetop Party featuring the groove of live DJs spinning the tunes of this colourful and vibrant culture. Glow-sticks and tropicana props add to the mood as professional dancers twist and twirl in the Havana decor and flower-garlanded space. Bar Flare shows will be staged throughout the night. Caribbean rum, Daiguiri Mulata cocktail, jerk chicken and barbecue bites will be available. A fire show by dancers will be presented. DJ Ven will bring his show from some of Bangkok’s hottest nightspots, while Fabao from Brazil will make special appearances throughout the evening with his percussion and guitar.

Feisty Rosana, the renowned Latin dancer from Spain, will help you get your heels clacking along with Tanja Keller, Look Kaew and Moa, who will be strutting their stuff on the dance floor.

The fee is 650 baht (5,000 baht for a table for two, 10,000 baht for a table for four). Avani Riverside Bangkok Hotel is on Charoen Nakhon Road.
