The “Pet Expo Thailand 2018” will be packed with a myriad of products, services and activities for pet lovers for four days starting today until Sunday from 10am to 8pm, at all zones of Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, Ratchadaphisek Road.

Held under the “Pet Sphere” theme, the eighth edition of the expo will gather up to 250 shops, offering everything pet keepers will need, at special prices — from pet foods to supplements, coat treatment products to medical supplies, pet apparels to accessories and pet equipment to skill development tools.

This is also the right place to check out the list of hotels and accommodations across the country that allow companion pets and the list of recommended clinics and hospitals for all kinds of pets.

While Royal Canin will offer a healthcare service and nutrition tips for dogs and cats, the Thonglor Pet Hospital will bring a team of expert veterinarians to provide health check-ups and vaccinations for dogs, cats and rodents and Rattanathibet Referral Animal Hospital will offer general examinations and products for pets with specific diseases.

Participating pets will be displayed at three major zones. The “Rodent Zone” will see Czech Frosty rabbit, cavy guinea pigs and prairie dogs; the “Exotic Pet Zone” will introduce luminous scorpions, rare snakes, a giant tortoise, eclectus parrots, bearded dragons, a desert fox, capybara and silkie rooster; and the “Clever Pet Zone” will delight visitors with the appearances of sun conure parrots, Vietnamese pot-bellied pigs, meerkats, raccoons and Macaws.

Besides fun games and competitions, there will also be a dog agility show on Saturday at 3.30pm, followed by a mini concert by Bright AF9 on at 5pm and a dog fashion show on the theme “Space” by Thonglor Pet Hospital on Sunday at 3pm.
