Some of the world’s largest and most esteemed manufactur­ers of paper, packaging and tissue products will participat­e in Asian Paper & Tissue World Bangkok at Bitec Hall 105, Bang Na-Trat Road, from today until Friday.

This Pan-Asian industry event will focus on the theme “Shaping Success: Strategies For Sustainabl­e Growth In Paper, Packaging And Tissue”, in order to address the key issues influencin­g the industry’s direction.

The trade show offers a platform for business exchange with leading players in the industry, including integrated-product makers, jumbo-roll makers, converters, retailers and distributo­rs to suppliers from over 20 countries. They will showcase their technologi­es and solutions.

For the first time, there will be a pavilion reserved for non-woven products by exhibitors from China’s Fujian province and leading manufactur­ers. They will offer household paper, adult and children’s diapers, sanitary napkins, and other types of tissues for use in home, healthcare and constructi­on.

Senior representa­tives from participat­ing companies will join this year’s Senior Management Symposium, tomorrow, 11am-4pm. During these high-level seminars, key-performanc­e variables defining success in the industry will be analysed. Topics will include sustainabl­e growth and innovation, fibre resources, trends and outlooks in the corrugated-carton industry, machine conversion­s, IoT, and cutting-edge paper and board multi-client studies.

The New Applied Technology Sessions on Thursday and Friday, 11am-3pm, will touch on practical solutions for saving costs on new fibre trends, reduction of water usage in elemental chlorine free bleaching, nanotechno­logy and to increase production efficiency and product quality.

The trade show runs daily, 10am-6pm (closing at 4pm on the last day). There is no registrati­on fee for trade visitors.
