2The Danish design furniture company Republic Of Fritz Hansen is presenting a brand new item: a minimalist, yet highly detailed armchair that brings together the best of Eastern and Western design. 3Thirty iconic works of renowned photojourn­alist Reza Deghati are currently on show at House of Lucie in Bangkok as part of the Spotlights On Reza: Our Human Family exhibition. Reza’s career as a lensman and philanthro­pist took him to over 100 countries, where he was both an observer and photograph­er of conflicts and natural catastroph­es, and his images were featured in internatio­nal media ( Time Magazine, National Geographic, Newsweek and more), books and exhibition­s. After having held monumental shows in Paris, London, Brussels and New York, the French-Iranian photograph­er’s work is now on show in Bangkok until Sept 1. House of Lucie is on Ekamai 8.

4The Commons Block Party is back for its third edition today. The event’s motto is “Eat, Drink And Mingle”, which you’re likely to do with a selection of organic khanom krok desserts and cocktails by Patom Organic Living. Community activities include herb-planting and recycled tote bag-making workshops as well as a free community ride with Absolute Cycle in the evening. For those who prefer to cosy up with a movie, an outdoor film screening will also be taking place starting at 7pm. Little ones can have their face painted or enjoy some quality story-time while their parents taste food from the mall’s latest stands and listen to the music. 5Just so you have an excuse to extend the weekend a little bit, the critically-acclaimed series Westworld will conclude its second season with its longest episode yet. The season’s final episode, titled The Passenger, will be streaming on HBO GO on Monday at 8am, at the same time as it premieres in the United States. Westworld, the futuristic fantasy park, will see humans and android “hosts” clash in a one-and-a-half-hour long, feature-length episode you can watch with AIS Play and AIS Playbox.
