Foolish music for foolish people

-

Before they part ways, Mightyfools will return to the City of Angels for a special performance at Onyx, Royal City Avenue, on Saturday from 9pm to 2am.

Following the announcement of the duo’s split, Mightyfools has been touring one last time and Bangkok has been chosen to be their final stop in Asia and second-to-last performance.

A solid name in the industry, Jelle Keizer and Andy Samin, better known as the Dutch DJ duo Mightyfools, have been festival favourites, setting trends and pushing boundaries on the biggest stages around the world.

Having been touring internationally for 10 consecutive years, they are the first Dutch-Indonesian act to break through in the dance scene, always living up to their rebellious motto: “No rules”. They have performed at over 1,000 events worldwide, including major festivals like Tomorrowland, Mysteryland, Creamfields, WorldDJFestival and Anotherworld.

The Mightyfools have branded and created a strong unique sound getting worldwide recognition and constant support by the likes of Hardwell, David Guetta, Afrojack, Calvin Harris, Diplo, Tiesto, Martin Garrix, Skrillex, DJ Snake and Yellow Claw.

The surprising success of the single Lick Dat, which was viewed 3.1 million times on YouTube, turned out to be a game changer for them, introducing a new sound to the dance music spectrum.

The inevitable follow up No Class gained an impressive one million video views in less than two months. Continuing their hot streak with the EPs Fools Squad Vol 1, Vol 2 and Blood Brothers, they pushed dance music boundaries even further, showcasing their versatility and catchiness no matter the genre.

Tickets cost 500 baht and are available at the door. Call 083-089-8982.
