Face time with Tiffany
Tiffany Young, a former diva of South Korea’s popular girl group Girls’ Generation, will meet her Thai fans during the “Tiffany Young Asia Fan Meeting Tour In Bangkok 2018” at Thunder Dome, Muang Thong Thani, on Sept 20.
Presented by Thailand’s Feoh and America’s Transparent Agency, this is the first time for fans to get up close and personal with the 29-year-old American singer of Korean descent reputed for her versatile vocal range and step dance prowess.
After having spent 10 years performing with Girls’ Generation, Tiffany was the second member who embarked on her solo career, with the release of her first EP, I Just Wanna Dance, two years ago.
Featuring elements of trap and R&B that drew a more American influence than typical K-pop, the primarily synthpop album debuted at number three on both the Billboard World Album Chart and South Korea’s Gaon Album Chart and was chosen by Billboard as the seventh best K-pop album of the year.
The California-born Tiffany rolled out her first English single, Over My Skin, that she co-wrote just two months ago and it peaked at number one on the Spotify Chart Thailand and many other music charts around the world.
Described as a “90s-inspired pop track” with funky brass and R&B leanings, the sexy song lyrically talks about confidence, sensuality and female empowerment.
