TUESDAY: The Vegetarian Festival this year starts today and runs through Sunday, with fullscale ceremonies arranged in many areas nationwide, including Phuket, Nakhon Sawan, Hat Yai, Samut Songkram and Bangkok. Analysts estimate spending during the 10-day festival at 46 billion baht, up 1.9% from last year’s festival. Thailand Post organises World Post Day 2018 under the concept “Go Global, Grow Local” to offer customers new experiences in postal services, innovation and online payment. The fair will run until Monday at Zpotlight, Zpell at Future Park in Pathum Thani. The Stock Exchange of Thailand, the Securities Exchange Commission, the Association of Thai Securities Companies, the Association of Investment Management Companies and the Thai Listed Companies Association host the Capital Market Innovation Awards 2018. The competition comes to the final round today, and the announcement and award presentation for the winner team will be arranged at Sukree Kaewcharoen Auditorium, B Building of the SET office on Ratchadaphisek Road. Worlddidac Asia, an event gathering education executives, educators, lecturers, trainers and education professionals, as well as distributors and providers of world-class resources, under one platform, will take place at Plenary Hall 1-3, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, until Friday.

TUESDAY: Isara Vongkusolkit, chairman of Thailand’s top sugar maker, Mitr Phol Group, and a former chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, talks about the Friendship Award received from China for his 25 years of dedication to help development of the mainland’s sugar industry. WEDNESDAY: The Engineering Institute of Thailand provides updates on National Engineering 2018, an event to be held Nov 1-3 at Impact Muang Thong Thani. THURSDAY: The Thai Bond Market Association reports on the Thai bond market in the first nine months of the year and the outlook for the remaining months at the association, 10th floor of Ton Son Tower.

MONDAY: The Community Development Department organises Otop Village for Tourism at Challenger 3 Hall, Impact Muang Thong Thani. The event features products and services of Otop (One Tambon One Product) from each village to serve travel and tourism in Thailand. The event ends on Tuesday. TUESDAY: The China embassy in Thailand, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Science and Technology Ministry will co-host the CAS Innovation Expo Bangkok 2018 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center until Sunday. WEDNESDAY: Asean Cold Pharma Chain 2018 and Asean Logistics & Warehouse 2018 will take place through Friday at Bitec under the theme “One Stop Solution” for manufacturers and distributors of three business clusters: cold room/clean room, logistics and warehousing. The participants will introduce their latest products, services and technologies to serve the growing food, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing industries in Asean.

THURSDAY: The Private Sector Collective Action Coalition Against Corruption (CAC) hosts its annual seminar, the 9th National Conference on Collective Action Against Corruption. This year, the topic for the discussion will be “Disrupting Corruption”, in which panellists will emphasise the use of digital and technology to scrutinise projects.
