TUESDAY: The Vegetarian Festival this year starts today and runs through Sunday, with fullscale ceremonies arranged in many areas nationwide, including Phuket, Nakhon Sawan, Hat Yai, Samut Songkram and Bangkok. Analysts estimate spending during the 10-day festival at 46 billion baht, up 1.9% from last year’s festival. Thailand Post organises World Post Day 2018 under the concept “Go Global, Grow Local” to offer customers new experience­s in postal services, innovation and online payment. The fair will run until Monday at Zpotlight, Zpell at Future Park in Pathum Thani. The Stock Exchange of Thailand, the Securities Exchange Commission, the Associatio­n of Thai Securities Companies, the Associatio­n of Investment Management Companies and the Thai Listed Companies Associatio­n host the Capital Market Innovation Awards 2018. The competitio­n comes to the final round today, and the announceme­nt and award presentati­on for the winner team will be arranged at Sukree Kaewcharoe­n Auditorium, B Building of the SET office on Ratchadaph­isek Road. Worlddidac Asia, an event gathering education executives, educators, lecturers, trainers and education profession­als, as well as distributo­rs and providers of world-class resources, under one platform, will take place at Plenary Hall 1-3, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, until Friday.

WEDNESDAY: The Engineerin­g Institute of Thailand provides updates on National Engineerin­g 2018, an event to be held Nov 1-3 at Impact Muang Thong Thani. THURSDAY: The Thai Bond Market Associatio­n reports on the Thai bond market in the first nine months of the year and the outlook for the remaining months at the associatio­n, 10th floor of Ton Son Tower.

MONDAY: The Community Developmen­t Department organises Otop Village for Tourism at Challenger 3 Hall, Impact Muang Thong Thani. The event features products and services of Otop (One Tambon One Product) from each village to serve travel and tourism in Thailand. The event ends on Tuesday. TUESDAY: The China embassy in Thailand, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Science and Technology Ministry will co-host the CAS Innovation Expo Bangkok 2018 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center until Sunday. WEDNESDAY: Asean Cold Pharma Chain 2018 and Asean Logistics & Warehouse 2018 will take place through Friday at Bitec under the theme “One Stop Solution” for manufactur­ers and distributo­rs of three business clusters: cold room/clean room, logistics and warehousin­g. The participan­ts will introduce their latest products, services and technologi­es to serve the growing food, pharmaceut­icals and manufactur­ing industries in Asean.

THURSDAY: The Private Sector Collective Action Coalition Against Corruption (CAC) hosts its annual seminar, the 9th National Conference on Collective Action Against Corruption. This year, the topic for the discussion will be “Disrupting Corruption”, in which panellists will emphasise the use of digital and technology to scrutinise projects. The seminar takes place at Napalai Ballroom, Dusit Thani.
